Britain is acquiring 72 remote-controlled howitzers capable of striking targets from 45 miles away, with the £1 billion contract including training and support services. The RCH 155 systems, produced by a Rheinmetall and KNDS partnership, will significantly enhance the British Army's long-range artillery capabilities.
