EVelution Energy LLC is building a 28 MW solar installation in Arizona to supply power to the nation's first commercial cobalt refinery, a $450 million facility designed to process cobalt metal and cobalt sulfate domestically. Surplus electricity from the solar array will either charge on-site batteries or be distributed to the regional power grid.
