DHL en VELA lanceren windkracht-vrachtschepen voor transatlantische routes

DHL Global Forwarding France is partnering with shipping company VELA to introduce wind-powered cargo vessels for transatlantic transport, targeting a 99% reduction in carbon emissions from maritime freight. The custom-built trimarans will begin commercial operations in early 2027, offering a sustainable alternative for one of logistics' most polluting sectors.
