Aantal financiële holdings in Nederland in tien jaar bijna gehalveerd

The number of shell companies operated by multinational corporations in the Netherlands has nearly halved over the past decade, according to new data from the Dutch Central Bank. Financial holdings decreased from over 14,000 in 2017 to fewer than 8,000 in 2025. This significant decline reflects changing regulatory environments and corporate strategies in the Netherlands.
