AEON-robot gaat aan slag in Oostenrijkse fabrieken

Swiss robotics firm Hexagon Robotics and Austrian engineering company Fill Maschinenbau have partnered to deploy the AEON humanoid robot in real-world factory operations at Fill's facility in Gurten, Austria. The robot will handle machine tending, inspection, and operational support tasks while working alongside human workers. This pilot deployment follows BMW Group's earlier integration of AEON at its Leipzig plant and aims to demonstrate how humanoid robots can enhance manufacturing efficiency and scalability in complex production environments.
