AFM focust in 2026 op fraudedetectie en zelflerend vermogen accountantskantoren

The Dutch financial regulator AFM will focus on fraud detection and self-learning capabilities at accounting firms in 2026. The watchdog plans enhanced AI oversight across financial markets, aiming to make AI usage more transparent and controllable while protecting consumers. AFM will also intensify supervision of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) implementation.
