Nearly 40% of Americans keep unused electronics in drawers rather than recycling or reselling them, according to a survey of 4,000 consumers. Only about one in ten devices get recycled or resold, while 9% end up in landfills, revealing a widespread reluctance to properly dispose of old gadgets.
