AWS ziet grote kansen in AI-software voor kantoorwerk

AWS CEO Matt Garman announced that Amazon Web Services is entering the software-as-a-service market with new AI-powered applications, including Amazon Quick, a desktop tool for productivity tasks, and specialized Connect applications for hiring, healthcare, and supply chain management. Garman described this as a "huge business opportunity," citing the transformative potential of agentic AI to remake existing applications. While AWS will focus on select products it believes will succeed, the company expects most AI applications will be built by other developers rather than Amazon itself.
