AWS Interconnect nu beschikbaar voor multicloud-verbindingen

AWS Interconnect is now generally available, providing managed private Layer 3 connections between AWS and Google Cloud, with last-mile connectivity through Lumen. Support for Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is expected later in 2026. AWS has published the underlying specification on GitHub under Apache 2.0 license, a move analysts interpret as an attempt to establish an industry standard for multicloud connectivity solutions.
