Boekhouder veroordeeld voor verduistering van €72.500 en drie auto's

An Almere accountant has been convicted of embezzling €72,500 and three company vehicles from a sole proprietorship. The Midden-Nederland court sentenced him to 120 hours of community service and a conditional four-month prison sentence with a two-year probation period. The court found that the defendant abused his position as the company's bookkeeper to commit the theft.
