CEO's krijgen miljoenen bonus ondanks tariefmaatregelen

Back to overview

Several major U.S. company boards adjusted executive compensation metrics to shield CEO bonuses from the impact of tariffs imposed in 2025. RTX, Ross Stores, and The Gap were among eight large companies that removed tariff costs from calculations determining executive pay, allowing CEOs like Christopher Calio of RTX to receive significantly higher bonuses without disclosing the exact financial benefit of these adjustments. A compensation consulting firm's analysis found that none of the companies revealed how much these tariff protections were worth to their executives.
