India opent eerste waterstoffabriek met kernenergie ter wereld

India has opened a hydrogen production facility powered by nuclear heat at its atomic research centre in Kalpakkam. The plant demonstrates how a Fast Breeder Test Reactor can generate hydrogen through the Copper-Chlorine thermochemical cycle, marking a significant step toward clean energy production using nuclear technology.
