China presenteert zijwaarts rijdende mijnbouwvrachtwagen van 110 ton

Back to overview

China has unveiled the Shuanglin K7, a 110-ton autonomous mining truck featuring innovative "crab-walk" technology that allows it to move sideways and pivot in place. Developed by Shanghai-based Shuanglin Group and Tsinghua University, the vehicle uses world-first drive-by-wire corner modules where each wheel operates independently with its own motor, steering, and braking systems. This design enables the truck to navigate narrow mining pits and complex terrain that would trap conventional vehicles, while maintaining the payload capacity needed for continuous 24/7 operations.
