China is testing fibers manufactured from lunar soil aboard its space station to assess their potential for constructing Moon habitats. The material samples, delivered via the Tianzhou-10 cargo spacecraft, will be exposed to extreme conditions including vacuum, radiation, and temperature variations to determine durability and construction viability.
