A Dutch court has overturned a €167,500 penalty imposed on a company director (DGA). The Gelderland court ruled insufficient evidence that he intentionally participated in sanctionable conduct by three companies within a Curaçao structure, either as manager, co-perpetrator, or accomplice. The director had relied on advice from a reputable tax firm.
