Figma bouwt Redis-proxy voor maximale beschikbaarheid

Figma developed FigCache, an in-house Redis proxy service, to replace its fragmented caching infrastructure and improve system reliability. The custom solution, deployed in production since mid-2025, has achieved six nines of uptime (99.9999%) for the company's caching layer. This engineering effort demonstrates how building specialized infrastructure can address specific availability challenges in large-scale applications.
