Onderzoek bevestigt: proton is kleiner dan decennialang aangenomen

Physicists at the Max Planck Institute have confirmed through advanced laser spectroscopy that the proton measures approximately 0.84 femtometres in charge radius, contradicting conventional measurements by roughly 4 percent. The findings, based on muonic hydrogen analysis, challenge decades of accepted nuclear physics data used in atomic calculations.
