Hoge Raad: NIBC-Société Générale constructie was belastingontwijking

The Dutch Supreme Court ruled that a financing structure between NIBC and Société Générale constituted tax evasion. The Tax Authority had imposed back-tax assessments in 2014 and 2015, totaling approximately €20 million including interest. The decision represents another victory for the Dutch Tax Authority in combating aggressive interest deduction schemes.
