Japan zet robotische wolven in tegen recordaantal berenaanvallen

Japan is deploying robotic wolf-shaped devices equipped with flashing lights and varied sound effects to deter bears from populated areas. The automated scarecrows have gained traction following a surge in bear attacks that resulted in 13 fatalities during the 2025-2026 season across rural communities.
