Startup krijgt toestemming voor 'ruimtespiegel' die zonlicht naar aarde reflecteert

Reflect Orbital received regulatory approval to launch Eärendil-1, a satellite equipped with an 18-meter reflective mirror designed to redirect sunlight toward Earth at night. The California startup plans to eventually deploy up to 50,000 such satellites to provide on-demand illumination for cities and other applications.
