Cornell Tech researchers collaborated with nurses, patients, and other stakeholders over 14 weeks to develop healthcare robots through participatory design. The study demonstrated that involving hospital staff and patients in the development process resulted in more practical and human-centered solutions compared to robots designed without user input.
