Researchers at the University of Warsaw have detected single-photon emission from a two-dimensional layered material called ZnPS3, marking progress toward quantum chip development. The discovery, made in collaboration with scientists from Singapore and the Netherlands, demonstrates how low-dimensional materials could advance quantum computing technology.
