Snelgroeiende hybride zwijnen verspreiden zich in verlaten gebieden rond Fukushima

Hybrid pigs with accelerated reproduction rates are proliferating in zones surrounding Japan's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant following the 2011 disaster. Scientists from Fukushima and Hirosaki universities examined genetic material from these animals and found that offspring retained reproductive characteristics from domesticated pig ancestry.
