Rolls-Royce, Avio Aero, and IHI Corporation have successfully completed design reviews for a next-generation fighter jet engine developed under the Global Combat Air Program. The milestone, announced in July, advances the power system toward ground testing for the joint UK-Italy-Japan combat aircraft project.
