Onderzoekers testen elektromagnetische railgun voor het eerst in openlucht

Researchers at ISL have successfully tested an advanced electromagnetic railgun outdoors for the first time, firing the weapon at their proving ground in Baldersheim. The brief test, lasting only milliseconds, culminates years of development work and represents a major breakthrough for the institute's railgun programme launched two years ago.
