Holtec en EDF willen voormalige kolencentrales omzetten naar kernenergie met SMR's

Britain moves forward with plans to convert a shuttered coal plant into a nuclear facility. Holtec and EDF have proposed building up to four small modular reactors at the former Cottam power station in Nottinghamshire, which would generate approximately 1.3 gigawatts of clean energy using advanced SMR-300 technology.
