Saronic, a maritime defense technology company, plans to construct a $3 billion shipyard spanning 4,000 acres in Brownsville, Texas, designed to manufacture military and commercial vessels. The facility, called Port Alpha, will begin construction this year and commence operations in 2028, positioning itself as one of America's most technologically advanced shipbuilding centers.
