Turkse Baykar toont nieuwe kamikaze-drone Mizrak met 1000 km bereik

Turkish drone manufacturer Baykar unveiled the Mizrak loitering munition on April 30, a long-range autonomous strike system capable of flying over 620 miles with a 40-kilogram warhead. The drone can remain airborne for more than seven hours, reach speeds of 115 mph, and operates using onboard artificial intelligence without requiring GPS guidance. Baykar offers two configurations: a heavy-strike model with dual warheads and a precision variant equipped with a radio-frequency seeker, both featuring electro-optical and infrared cameras for reconnaissance. The system will be publicly displayed
