A California aerospace company is developing the Z4, a blended-wing passenger aircraft designed to reduce fuel consumption by up to 50 percent while achieving a 5,000 nautical mile range. The aircraft, unveiled at the Farnborough International Airshow, aims to become the world's first commercial blended-wing airliner when it enters service in the early 2030s.
