Brembo has begun mass production of its Sensify brake-by-wire system, the first fully fluid-free braking setup in production vehicles. The system eliminates hydraulic fluid, brake lines, and the master cylinder, replacing them with electric signals and software that control individual wheel brakes independently. Drivers retain a traditional brake pedal with simulated resistance, while the digital system reacts faster than conventional hydraulics, improving stability on slippery roads by adjusting braking force at each wheel in real time.
