Finnish researchers have developed the first superconducting quantum heat engine, which converts minimal heat into usable work within a quantum circuit. This breakthrough could significantly reduce operational costs for future large-scale quantum computers, supporting Finland's goal to build a thousand-qubit system by 2035.
